Website
This project involved a comprehensive redesign of the Ulster County Comptroller website to improve usability, accessibility, and engagement for both frequent and new visitors. The focus was on creating an intuitive, visually engaging platform that effectively communicates the office’s work and empowers citizens to access relevant data.

Publications Management
To enhance content organization and user experience, we developed a custom post type for Publications in the WordPress dashboard, complementing the default Posts and Pages. This system incorporates three distinct categories—Audits, Reports, and Memorandums—to streamline content sorting and searching.
The redesigned front-end showcases publications in a visually appealing, user-friendly format with minimal text and engaging thumbnail images, ensuring the office of the comptroller’s deliverables are easily accessible and digestible for users.

Enhanced Content Discoverability and User Engagement
The site now leverages categories and tags to organize content across various types, including press releases, reports, audits, and blog posts. This structure ensures seamless navigation and searchability, allowing users to quickly find relevant information.
By combining intuitive organization with a visually appealing design, the site transforms complex data into an accessible and engaging experience, making it easier for the average citizen to understand and interact with the information.
