In 2017, Great Life Brewing was an exciting new entity in the New York State brewing scene. It had quietly bootstrapped its way into Hudson Valley bars and restaurants and won multiple awards for quality. But to take the next step, it needed a brand that could compete on bigger stages. After a series of brand interviews, we completed a mood board discussion with the owners of the business to determine its values and vibes. The mood board made it straight-forward to design a logo that evokes the feeling of having a Great Life in the Hudson Valley, and it has translated into many forms over the years: growlers, cans, apparel, signage and more.
